The Wien Ostarrichi Lions Club was founded on October 24, 1995. Our Charter Night was on February 3, 1996. Our Sponsor Club is the Milano Bramante Cinque Giornate Lions Club (Italy). On October 24, 1998, a mutual agreement was sealed to make the Neu Isenburg Lions Club (Germany) our "Twinning Club".

We ourselves are sponsor of Wien Floridus Lions Club (founded April 19, 2001), of Wien St. Rochus Lions Club (founded May 31, 2005) and of Wien Residenz Lions Club (founded December 4, 2009).

Our Club meetings are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month (excepted in July and August), at 7:00 p.m., in the Hotel Regina, 1090 Wien, Rooseveltplatz 15.

In Vienna, at Café Landtmann, every Wednesday a Lions Get-together is organised by members of our Lions-Club.

Lions International is a service organization whose motto is "We Serve".
